Isn’t variety a beneficial aspect of life?
Of enjoying the discovery of each day?
Each person we encounter?
Each artist we see
Each musician we hear
Each author we read
Isn’t taking a new path a chance for delight?
A chance to smell a new flower?
To hear a new birdsong?
To sit in the shade of a strange tree?
Can’t I express myself differently today than I did yesterday?
Or last year? Or when I was a child?
Can’t I be different than you?
